“I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.” Matthew 25:43
Our church has been involved in chaplaincy work at Her Majesty’s Prison for a number of years.
We feel that it is vital to minister to these inmates, particularly the young, not forgetting the staff of the prison. This work involves conducting about six services a year, as well as visits at Christmas and other special occasions.
Our team, consists of six to eight members working in conjunction with the excellent chaplaincy team.
